Memorial Day is about valuing those who value our freedom more than their lives.

We need to remember the sacrifice of those braver and more capable than ourselves. We need to protect our freedoms with all of our hearts, might, mind, and strength. As of late, we have been well too willing to give up our freedom for security, imposed equality, economic rescue for poor choices, or to impose our utopian values on others in the form of Federal mandates. On this day, let us honor the soldiers who love us more than themselves and scrutinize the government leaders who misuse that love.
