Good Question, Jim Who ARE you representing, Clair Ellis?

Don’t raise the food tax | The Salt Lake Tribune:: www.sltrib.com/sltrib/opinion/55373048-82/tax-taxe...l.csp

To have stable sales tax revenues during economic downturns means the government takes more from taxpayers in bad times, regardless of our diminished ability to pay. We’re asked to keep paying, even when we can’t. Which begs this question: Just who do we as lawmakers represent, the government or taxpayers?

Ladies, Your Help is needed to fight Breast Cancer!

JOIN OUR CANCER PREVENTION STUDY – 3 (CPS-3)
During the week of November 13- 17, 2012, the American Cancer Society will be conducting a
Cancer Prevention Study in the SLC area. The American Cancer Society is hoping to have this
same study available in the Tampa Bay area in 2013. Please help us reach our goal of more
than 2,000 enrollees for the SLC area and 300,000 nationwide!

If you've ever known someone with cancer, you know that birthdays are a very significant milestone.
There are nearly 13.7 million people in America who have survived cancer - and countless more who
have avoided it - who will be celebrating birthdays this year. You can join the movement for more
birthdays and fight back against cancer by enrolling in a new research study called the
Cancer Prevention Study - 3 (CPS-3). The American Cancer Society's Epidemiology Research
Program is inviting men and women between the ages of 30 and 65 years who have no personal
history of cancer to join this historic research study. The ultimate goal is to enroll at least 300,000
adults from various racial/ethnic backgrounds from across the U.S. By joining CPS-3, you can help us
understand how to prevent cancer, which will save lives and give people more of their most precious
resource: time. More time with their families and friends, more memories, more celebrations and
more birthdays.

For more information, visit cancer.org/cps3 or call toll free 1-888-604-5888. Enrollment sites in the
SLC area: Huntsman Cancer institute, U of U Medical Center, Weber County Ice sheet-Dee Event Center,
Intermountain Medical Center, Questar Center, Davis Hospital, LDS Conference Center,
Walgreens District office, American Cancer Society.

Go to this website for details in the SLC area and sign up for an appointment:

I am considering buying this doll for my daughter (5) who already puts on my nursing cover and "nurses" her baby dolls.

I nursed both of my children as long as I could (10 months for one and 11 months for the other). I believe we need to de-sexualize the public concept of nursing (being reasonably covered) and this is the perfect way to go! (BTW, the 50% discount code is XMAS at thebreastmilkbaby.com) What do you think? www.sfgate.com/news/us/article/Breastfeeding-baby-...6.php

I just want to say that I am so PROUD of my airline's response to Superstorm Sandy! This in spite of losing revenue from over 6,000 flights!

"We're the New York/New Jersey hometown carrier, and we take our responsibility to the community seriously. We announced that the United Airlines Foundation would match up to a total of $100,000 in donations to support Superstorm Sandy relief efforts by the American Red Cross, AmeriCares and Feeding America. I'm proud to tell you that within 72 hours, co-workers, customers and the Foundation had raised nearly half a million dollars."
