I just want to say that I am so PROUD of my airline's response to Superstorm Sandy! This in spite of losing revenue from over 6,000 flights!

"We're the New York/New Jersey hometown carrier, and we take our responsibility to the community seriously. We announced that the United Airlines Foundation would match up to a total of $100,000 in donations to support Superstorm Sandy relief efforts by the American Red Cross, AmeriCares and Feeding America. I'm proud to tell you that within 72 hours, co-workers, customers and the Foundation had raised nearly half a million dollars."
