For those who care about neighborhoods who self-sustain and help their own... HELP! Rose Park Community Garden needs some saviors!

We have a Garden 911...
For years now, someone calls the City and complains about the garden. We don't get the weeds down to their satisfaction... or something. At this point... Reagan Outdoor Advertising... who owns the land and has treated our garden so generously... and also gets cited for their other private lots... has decided to level all their private properties, mulch them with gravel and a few hardy perennials... easy xeriscape. This would include Urban Growth.... :(

We have a month to prove to Reagan and the City that the garden should stay. At this immediate moment... I am in shock and not thinking clearly, but will organize a Weed & Feed several times over the month. Anyone with a few hours to spare at any time... would be so brilliant! Having help organizing an almost finished documentary, Waivers and permits for the City, etc. to have Reagan approve and sign would be a Godsend. A letter of support or possibly an email to the City : jill.denicke@slcgov.com or Reagan Outdoor Advertising to support growing food and community on our open spaces would be perfect... Please!
