Senior Airman Michael Malarsie and his seeing-eye dog, Xxon, prepare to leave the stage with Maj. Gen. Byron Hepburn, 59th Medical Wing commander, at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. Malarsie received the Bronze Star with Valor on March 30 for heroism as a Tactical Air Control Party Member while deployed to Afghanistan.
